The NFL and the toy industry are back on the same page after a dispute over toy cash back policy.
According to NFL Network’s NFL Cashback newsletter, the league’s toy policy now states that owners of toy vehicles with an in-game price of more than $200 will receive up to $200 cash back for every toy in their inventory.
It also states that cash back will be available at retailers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Toyota had said the policy would allow for up to 25 percent of sales at toy stores to be cash back.
The policy was originally announced last year.
The NFL and toy industry have been locked in a legal battle since 2018 over a toy policy that was enacted in late 2019, and the settlement between the two parties ended this week.
